Minelayer

Post by Sunrise Samurai »

Cost 8
Hp 20
Armor 0/0
Speed 3
Stealth, can see stealth
Spells: lay mine, lay nuclear mine (cooldown 6)

Mine
Hp 1
Stealth
When destroyed (or stepped on) explodes, 10 damage and fire in AOE 1.

Nuclear mine
Same, but deals 75 damage, AOE 2. Causes fire, poison, and EMP (curse, for electronics) to anything caught in the blast.

Leave it to humans to be irresponsible enough to seed an area with radioactive explosives, then leave them unattended to cause indescriminate harm.

Essentially, forces enemies to keep a scout unit around or accept the consequences of charging a mine field. Also, mines can be placed as neutrals when creating a map, to make some maps dangerous to run around carelessly.

.....dang it. I meant to put this in space. Land mines would be weaker (no nuclear, for example)

So why you post it in "planetary"?

It should be in "space". Topics for human will be bring to planerary or space section when we find out how to make me able to move topics or when Daniel will do that. Please dont add us more work and post topics in right sections.

Exactly. I'm thinking this practically forces opponents keeping a scout ship, but to be used effectively you're going to want to kill said scout. Some particularly dumb players might lose because they can't move without getting blown up
