I do and I do not as well... Ok, my thoughts:

Medium sized monsters for myconids - if you mean something like the brutes that are in game (they seem to fit your description, do you have the Dev version btw?) then I would in fact love some of those for them.

The higher speed on forests - I do like the concept of higher speed on forests for myconids - however - not for a single unit. I'm thinking of giving them an upgrade that would give that to them - or actually not speed, but other stat boosts, as that's possible now as well. It would be related to a "sub-race" of plants I would give them - you know, mashrooms have synergy with trees. Final say here.

And we get to the main problem, I do have a slight problem with that "log that wrecks tanks" - it doesn't seem very realistic you know. The log would definitely break. I suggest we come up with something different instead, I don't really have an idea tho.

About the name, it's kinda too long, I definitely don't like how it has "anti-tank infantry" in name - bad name design, really, especially for myconids where I want a certain style to naming. However we will change the concept a lot so this might get solved along with that. I do not mean giving up on the anti tank concept tho, just that we will give a different reason for the role than the wood stuff.

1. Yes its like brute type unit
2. Im sill thinking what it looks like and the log part is kinda dumb i could change it by having there arms made of metalic spore type base
3. I dont know what name it yet maybe spore troll or Redroit.
4. I dint have the beta version of the game im new here just giving some ideas
5. Thank you for ur opinions i hope my concept helps ur team a bit

I don't like the concept of metallic spore per se, maybe instead they would just have some usual metal fuzed into them.

Maybe spore that fuse with iron to make spikeball or brassknuckle with spikes

I have one idea that another brute type made out of 3 different mushrooms that protects the center of its body that controls a living host like a parastye type it attack with chrmical vile in its mouth.
