Giant sporulate WAITING IMAGE

Post by Midonik »

A defensive building. It would be capable of rising death and maybe even converting like death cap. We can also give it 1 speed. No carry capacity and quite fragile tho, with normal cost for a tower.

Hp: 40
Power: 0
Range: 1
Armors: 2/2/4 (chemical)
Sight: 4
Speed: 1
Bonus mend: 0.5 (so 3 × 2 cost workers with 6 base mend can complete it in 5 turns what is the same time 2 × 3 cost grey engineers complete the standard turrent - had some problems with this but I believe this way it's fair)
Abilities:

Sorulate- rng:3-raises puffshrooms (40% change for shroomies) from nearby corpses, but loses 12 hp - same as the "myconids sporulates (puffballed)"

Insidious parasite (not quite sure how this effect will work yet so I copied this from death cap topic): range 4, convert, but gives a form of vanishing 5. When that vanishing ends, infected unit spawns a fungal horror in their place
Well I don't think that's possible, my alternative is delayed conversion - after 3 turns, the spores grow big enough to control the brain of converted unit. The special thing is that it ignores the spell resistance, only works on flesh and blood units, miss chance : 50%

Is it some kind of xeno-breeder with mushroom horror?

Is the last paragraph about mushroom horror relevant?

Maybe, in honor of its name, it could produce spores? Will it be too strong?

Hello, been a long time without a phone and none of my beloved "age of" games, I was doodling in paint today and I was wondering if this chunky boi would fit?
I've got one with spores and one without
Just got magic pink instead of transparency rn

Sorry, they're 32x32, is that not right? I can make bigger and better ones if not!
