Points?

I've noticed that in the bottom left hand corner the game lists the players and also what appears to be victory point things like in AoE (and variants).

I have noticed: Capturing and having tc's gets you points; Killing enemies gets you points; Getting your units killed loses you points.

How are these points scored?

I think they are your might. The more powerful you are the more might you have. I do not know how these are scored though but i do know that catupults and castles give you a lot of it.

by heart as i remember:
- TC owned: 100points / TC
- units killed: that many point that many turn cost they are. (or product of that)
- units owned: that many point that many turn cost they are. (or product of that)

I have seen the technologies progress also adds up for points. How the point system is for them?
