Catapult hits? - accuracy penalty

Post by COOLguy »

I like to do amphibious assaults. And the AI likes to use catapults to blow me up. :)
But it seems to me that when I am sailing by, and minding my own business, my destroyers (triremes now) tend to get hit more often than my warships. But they have the same move speed. Also, it appears that the Spartan is as hard to hit with a catapult as a knight.

So is the miss rate for the catapult completely random in accordance to the move speed, or do some units tend to be hit less than others with the same move speed?
Thanks!
Josh

if catapult (or any unit with "powerAccuracyPenalty" eg:trebuchet) has bonus on any unit/structure than the penalty (inaccuracy) is removed - so it will hit with 100% chance.

current catapult bonuses: U_BUILDINGS, UNIT_FIRESHIP, UNIT_SW_SPACESHIP

Ok, so I was right about the destroyers/triremes, but I imagined the Spartans.
Thanks, Daniel! :)
