I can't tell if you got better, or your style is most suited to this game. Perhaps both?

Here's the image @noaharts made, it needs to be updated to fit the current design for antmen units, and also the wings could look more like insect's wings. For stats, this seem quite easy to me, take the normal antmen, increase cost to 3 to gain 1 speed, lose some hp (elevated units are easier targets to get shot) and gain the ability to move over all terrain.

In addition to the wing legs and animation, I changed their eyes on all ants (including the engineer after the first show).

I like the animation. I need a frame by frame png tho, not a gif.

Also maybe the wings could be less butterfly like and more ant like/ dragonfly like/ wasp like.

I sent a GIF so that it would be clear how they look, PNG is attached.

I think 1 is a bit better. Can you make them Semi-Transparent?

They are translucent.

Hm, maybe a little bit more then? You could also add non-transparent lines like insects have on their wings.

Then you have to think about how these lines will behave when moving for animation.

Would that be a problem?

There's a problem with the frames you sent me. Since there are 4 frames, the images should be 4×64 px long, it's bigger. Also, the images don't fit in the 64×64px frames after the first one. They must be in the same relative position to the borders of each 64×64 frame in all of them, unless they are supposed to move in on of the directions (here they are supposed to move up and down, but not to left and right, so they must stay in the same relative position to the border on the X axis). Also they can't exit the borders of their frames, or the animation will look all scrwed up.

I would have fixed it myself, if Pixly didn't mess up transparency when moving pixels. If you can't fix it Anchar I can try using Gimp, maybe that would work out.

That is, the essence of the problem is that I made a space of 10 pixels between frames and I need to reduce this distance? Or am I wrong with the cropping size of the image (and it's now 65x63)? Or does it go out of bounds to the right and left and I need to trim it a little (for example, reduce the rifles or the wings)? Or does it come out on top of the edges and I need to move them down?

A single tile is 64x64 px and that should be the size of each frame. Also the distance between each frame must be exactly 0 px, I think thats the problem  .
