Siege mode ballista can be researched even without buying its upgrade from the upgrades section.

I haven't bought the upgrade but I can research the siege mode on siege workshop techs.

Yes, but then - you couldn't use transform, because siege ballista upgrade is missing.
That's right - shopitem is siege ballista, not the tech.
It's bad.
I fixed it in the pack.
