Can I post images for Private Messages

Can I post images for Private Messages

Well doesn't matter which extension it is,when I upload any image in jpg or jpeg or png format,it always ask me that the given file extension is not allowed.This happens when I upload attachments to a Private message.

The image you want to attach is probably too big.

Also the process is the one from upload attachments

Post image doesn't take less size image,I dont know any other way
