"Activate My Map + Run" Option Bugs

Post by LordOfAles »

Everyone is still kinda using the traditional way because of these stupid bugs:

1. It takes you to skirmish map option screen instead of campaign map briefing screen.
1.1 Everything is reset to default ("Fog" would be set to "Reveal", "All Techs" would be set to "No Techs" etc.)

2. Names are reset to default names (Eg. Cryptlings > Player2)

3. Colors are changed to default as well (Red, then Blue, etc.)

4.1 Races in AoF are set to Human, no matter what they were before.
4.2 Nations in AoWW will be set to one default, i'm sure.

5. Rarely, some triggers are broken and sometimes will get disable completely.
I am, indeed, a big Witch King and Middle Earth fan if you didn't notice.

no everyone - i always use the new way lol :)

all thing are not shown are not that important imho (eg. what color a user will have, or is it forg or not, or palyer name) - but eventually i will fix - thankS!

bigger problems:
the human instead of other race is a bigger problem tough
triggers should be good, if not than that is also a bigger one.

I heard from different people these "triggers are not fine" in may maps+run option
And now i am about to fix

Can somebody tell me a case that i can make in mapeditor and i will see that is not working? so i can debug fix - thanks!

i mean something like:
- put down 3 units to player, and 1 scout to enemy and 1 archer to enemy
- make a trigger that says you won if enemy archer dies.
- hit my map+run
- and simply kill the enemy scout and woila - you lost (while enemy archer is still alive)

something like this would help - thanks!
