In theory, I thought that the wormfaces, as neutrals, would have their own production buildings (which would be located in the water) from which this mechanism would go underwater along the bottom (incompetent) to land, but considering how it would be, it’s better to do it as you suggested initially - walking on land and shallow water.

I feel like it would be more useful if it could walk in deep water though. The factory doesn't need to necessarily influence anything.

The teleporter teleports itself or others. The electric guardian fights with stun guns, stunning opponents.

Teleporation of other units isnt possible right now, that unit might need rethinking.

As I wrote, he can teleport himself, as when jumping, but much further.

Is it possible to fight? Or maybe he could boost his armor by working as a flap in narrow spaces, as if he was making a force barrier.

Normal energy damage by 10.
I think it's just a skill that will increase his armor indicators, a force field or a shield for him personally (like Goliath Defender Human), you can even draw another stage.
It is teleported thanks to a manual teleporter that splits it into atoms and connects it again at the specified point, if you think about it, then perhaps it could connect random structures with its splitters, for example, a pile of stones in the path of the enemy.

Although I don't mind against the psionics option. But it would be fun to have a mobile durable fighter who would quickly find himself in positions to block the enemy. On the other hand, perhaps it is not necessary for insectoids, perhaps it is better to give something to lizards (for example, gray ones) or even leave it for aviacs.

Mini laser rifles built into the arms or splitters.Teleportation is not psionic, but electrical.

If the users have dielectric armor, then I think everything is fine, just the same current spreading through the water is guaranteed not to miss the entire enemy squad.

Could hit ally? I don't really know how electricity spreads in water, is it somewhat predictable?

No, however, I don't think it has enough power to spread to the entire ocean or river. The distribution zone will just approximately fit into 1 tile, it will not touch the worms themselves since they are in dielectric protection.

I think the ability to protect will be more interesting. I think it would be nice if the ability gave a lot of armor but reduced the speed to 0.

So an aura effect. We would need an image for the transformed form preferably. But doesn't this overload with protectors too much?

Overloads in what terms technically or in terms of cost for balance? In terms of balance, again, its production will be slowed down by one building and technology. In technical terms, I don’t know, I think you can make it just armored.

I meant overlap. I just meant that there is a different wormface unit that has an armor increasing aura so it feels redundant for this guys to have it. Just making the teleporters armored is fine?

If he stays still during the defensive stage and doesn't attack much then I think that might be ok.
