I think it would be better as a casting spell instead of a technology that makes all units completely immune.

We still need an image for the tech, the aura image should be easy since we already have aura image in game for the orcs.

I don't agree with that. That would just make exorcism useless. Also there is not much sense from a flavor point of view.

If you make an active spell that buff a unit with some sort of dark shield that protects from exorcism for some turns might be ok

You said that is an effect for all units that is more like a tech than a spell. If it is a spell that target another unit and has a set duration it is ok

Wait wasn't this about making units immune to exorcism? And I had an idea to make it simple. Enchantment that gives 100% spell resistance for a few turns. Not just good against exorcism, but also any other spell heavy playstyle.

Well, for single​ target, 2 turn duration, 9 cost seems a little high.
