With this tech, zombie/skeleton units would have the option to voluntarily explode, destroying itself, but spraying surrounding enemy units with infected body parts, with a 20-30% chance of killing said enemy unit(determined for each enemy unit individually) and converting it into a zombie unit after, say, 2 turns have elapsed following the infection...
Research time: 8 turns
What do you think, too overpowered?

Re: undead tech: self-destruct
This is way too op, and unrealistic. I could see this getting very annoying.

Re: undead tech: self-destruct
It would have to have a very limited range of effect, of course...like only adjacent units being potentially affected...and the percentage of success could be lower, of course...say 10%...otherwise the enemy unit is completely unaffected...
And...wait, did you say 'unrealistic'? We're talking about ZOMBIES!!'lol!!!!

Re: undead tech: self-destruct
A self destruction method to power up the lich would be very cool!
example: Two units are "sacrified" to the lich, each adds +2 attack power.

What color is your flag when it's burning?!

That could work, too, but it would probably have to be more like +1 attack for every 5 units "sacrificed"..is there already a necromancer in the works?

Re: undead tech: self-destruct
Or a self destruct that deals percentage of units max hp, or current hp, like 30% or 50 %, chance to instakill is definitely too strong, considering how much fodder ud make
