Eat goblin
Eat goblin
Idea is simple, giants can eat adjacent goblins for a relatively small heal(would be dumb to make it as potent as cannibalize, since hamletback exist, dunno if hamletback could use it, and if it counts as cannibalism, as for specifics, it definitely should cost a action and heal like 10 %or maybe tad more max hp)

Re: Eat goblin
No for giants in general as it may be too powerful.
Some units in future will get eat up goblin ability alas:
Cyclopses (favourite food for some of them, if you do not feed it it will eventually become hostile). They will be part of savages.

Re: Eat goblin
Seems better, but it needs some careful planning to not turn hamletback into a walking snack vendor

Re: Eat goblin
Well actually that will be great combo and it is confirmed to be planned.
Especially that one cyclops apart from eating goblins will also have ability to throw them for damage while other will sacrifice them to power up itself (temp buff).

Re: Eat goblin
I get it, but it needs rather careful balancing, otherwise hamletback will turn into uber support, especially cause you can force the goblins with goblin grenades and fireballs

Re: Eat goblin
The thing is that throw and eat abilities will be based on target's hp so while it will be viable option it may be not the best one.
As for sacrifice to empower — it will work differently: you will need to sacrifice units according to specified cost in order to activate it.

Re: Eat goblin
Dragons are long due to a nerf, they even got a massive buff in between
Re: Eat goblin
Goblins are relatively easy to make, so they definitely shouldnt deal as much dmg as their hp when throwed, and definitely not heal as much as cannibalize, unless you want turn hamletback into a decent healer on top of his considerable strenght

Re: Eat goblin
Well since one of cyclops requires food once per 2 turns at least in order to not turn hostile against former allies it will be fine.
Also all cyclopses will have cost higher than ettin so for them to heal 64 hp from master goblin spiker is not that great amount. It also consumes action.
As for throw ability — it will deal either current goblin's hp or halved amount of current goblin's hp (if this is technically possible) as melee type damage so armored units can block good amount of its damage.

Re: Eat goblin
I mean 70 dmg on throw is straight out of question, its quite easy to proc hamletback, as for healing, 20%will turn hamletback into uber zombie butcher that can easily heal more hp, with much greater value as a fighting unit

Re: Eat goblin
For unit with 800 hp 64 hp healing is not that much.
As for throw ability it will be affected by dodges as well so on elves it can miss (and also it will be by its own not so accurate).

Re: Eat goblin
If there will be more units with heal 15%max hp after eating goblin, that definitely would be op, just one can be played around(dunno if cyclops will have more than 1 action, and if Yes, can it eat two goblins in one turn? )

Re: Eat goblin
Eat up goblin will have cd at least 1 turn. May have more than 1.
As for healing. Well you can eat for example squig rider who when maxed has 160 hp so this way you can heal 20% of max hp for that 800 hp cyclops.
But basic goblin spiker in most cases will have less hp than 10% of cyclopses' max hp.
And yes some cyclops can have more than 1 action.

Re: Eat goblin
If it scales with goblin quality, it is alright, nobody would waste a high tier goblin as food, unless its mega injured
