i agree with 4, but we also need a fast spearman (like 2 turns) to e able to face a sudden cavalry attack

If u want to keep cost being 4, at least raise attack to 7, so the higher cost is justified. One extra turn of waiting isnt worth some hp.
That one guy that disappears for 6 months then comes back and keeps doing it over and over.

i don't agree much with attack raise. The unit concept is being a defender so it should have more hp and armor
More damange is ok (even 10) but the bonus against cavalry should be lower then (since the unit is a better fighter, resistant and already good against cavalry).

I wouldn't give it water speed since it is a lizard skill

Ok, NOW it seems good.. U missed cavalry bonus, my recomended bonus is 500% (30 damage.)

The best way you have to make new races implemented is making new campaigns that will allow for more gems in game
