P.S I think this unit could synergize well with the kobold Illusionist. Because of the Portals the illusions can be easily transported to lactions where it is necessary. This could make very interesting and strategic scenarios.

Problem here is that it is not possible mechanic wise to teleport units by any means.

Needs @Stratego (dev) to implement such option first.
