Attack in melee, or using an ability?

Probably something wrong with categories.
Either in magic missle or in mortar.

Using ability, Im using lich and necro and they cannot target the mortar, and also the flying unit of the dwarves too (I forgot What's the name of that unit)

Mortar is mostly likely categorised wrongly then.

I already wrote about this somewhere in the mistakes that the magical and incendiary (dragon) shot does not see the dwarf mortar and their carts and airships as the target.
