Probably a bug, that made a whole castle converted

Issues in the game itself, so no crash report but anything that works badly / or other way it should- but without a crash.

I was on a MP match, the opponent was a new player (ID: hellofriends, the guy who complained the absence of stat sheet and help page)

Amongst a mid game, I made a castle in middle of the map. He managed to get his 3 siege towers nearby. The next turn, my castle seems converted. There was no low resistance active on the castle. We just talked in global chat. He said he was carrying 9 missionaries in the 3 sige towers mentioned. He has no idea on MR and conversion chance since he has been reporting his stat sheet absent due to google web view issue.

So , how did the castle with MR 1000% converted with just 9 tries. Is it a rarely happened bug?

was it a "spells" enabled game?

Was there anything in the castle?
Resistance is actually cumulative among all units carried + carrier, so if units had negative resistance it could have helped (although formula is rather harsh for multiple units affected).

I had a worker inside. But it also didn't had low resistance active.
