FootKnight — ANSWERED
A knight who fights on foot. Perhaps he could mount a horse like Templars.

Re: FootKnight
I researched a little, and I found that footknights usually have better armor and a larger variety of weapons. Along with better training and a noble status.

Yes I understand that proposal, but what is that unit actually gonna do in game? Isn't that just another swordsman, or maybe you had a different proposal for that?

Noble status, better armor... Sounds exactly like sergeant/captain of humans.Shark guy 35 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 3:57 pm I researched a little, and I found that footknights usually have better armor and a larger variety of weapons. Along with better training and a noble status.
Sergeant/captain already has better armor (and health), better attack, and is leader for units (i think without nobility this couldn't be achieved in medieval times).
Also even if this unit is completely different from existing ones, what will he get?
What role will it have?
Costly tank? Costly damager?
If it will be just another-better-swordman-unit we have plenty of them and do not need even more. Especislly for basic army - will overlap with imperials in stats.
