Leader — ARCHIVED

Post by General Brave »

Cam someone make a leader type for the humans, someone that raises morale and the fighting capability. The Orcs have one and why shouldn't the humans have one too. It could be a Lord or lady which could come from the castle, so you could have the choice choosing between two different powerful units, the Dragon Rider or Lord/Lady of the castle. It could be 50/50 chance of getting the lady or the lord like the Roman Armory.

The lady is more of a Defender, mainly because she can use her shield defend herself from arrow and seriously hurt a enemy when they attack her.
Health; 60
Attack; 18
Range; 1
Armor; 7
Pierce armor; 5
Sight;5
Action/turn; 1
Spell resistance; 100%
Active ability, raises attack and defense by 1.

This lady has trained her entire life to someday to protect her subject against who dare do harm to to them.

The lord is the one who leads in battle, cutting down the enemy using his rapier.
Health; 60
Attack; 20
Range; 1
Armor; 5
Pierce armor; 7
Sight; 5
Action/turn; 2
Spell resistance; 100%
Active ability, raises attack and defense by 2.
The man has seen many battle, some he won, some he lost. But nevertheless he keeps on fighting.

Okay I'm pretty sure this is terrible, but I'm sure you guys could clean up and figure out what stats work best.

In AoS i've made both war drummer and religious fervor (for priests)

We might thinking about editing and implementing the king (the one 've made for maps).

Why a leader unit should convert? That qould be totally imbalanced.

Charisma, diplomacy or faith. How else would they lead a army without a coup.

This is not meant to convert an orc or an undead. Anyway this in not balanced anyway so it is not going to happen.

Charisma explains convert in AoS well enough, since everyone is the same species at least. AoF conversion needs, at minimum, some magical basis. Even my suggestion for nymphs was based on the idea that they bespell their target, and the attraction is magical as well as physical.

For human conversion, think of a mind control effect more than a charisma effect.
