These units are a nice mix of infantry and mage units. They can play an offensive role of seiging even. An ability that most infantry units in the Undead race lack currently. I would like to see these units added in soon for the benefit of the Undead army!

Swordmen sounds like good to fire sige, spearmen is needed becouse undeads lacks anty-cav,but the attack of this archer is kind of terrifying.

Attack on the archer aside (I'd say 8, since undead really are expected to be weaker at range)

This is really necessary. I'm getting tired of all undead elite units being weak to spearman type units, which don't even spawn back as very effective soldiers, since skeleton spearmen aren't good against anything but cavalry. We need some undead elites that aren't cavalry, and this seems to be the best idea for the job.

Maintain the support effects doctrine.

Try to dock down the amount of hitpoints to more ghoul like hp levels. They will atleast survive a hit without "skeletal power" tech.

@Alexander, if you came to the AoS discord server it might be easier to discuss fair stats there.

What is discord?

Anyway...

Let's put it simple:

1) i don't like much the design
2) skeletons are generally weak units and aren't spellcasters cause they are controlled, also, being mindless, I can't see them becoming veterans
3) they seems a bit of everything in a single unit (good stats for undead units, extra attacks, special effects, trample in a range 2, buff other units with the same effects, bonus and other stuff).

So I'm not satisfied with that proposal on nearly any point of view...

This where discussions go quickly in real time without refreashing. Though hardly organized.

Now that we have more attention here I'd like to get somewhere.
Okay time to knock off point 2 by renaming them, "Elemental Skeletons." A more fitting name. I've see some examples of basic enemies being given some elemental powers to help them gain the advantage.

Then we slow down the swordsman to one attack. Skeletons generally don't rely on dexterity, so he strikes with two swords at once to cause as much damage to the opponent as he can.

As for design, maybe we can just make them white skeletons with glowing eyes and elemental weapons, perhaps a cool cape with elemental color too?
They might just look something like the koopa bros from paper mario when put together.

Skeletons might be ok with 2 actions but less with trample (something originally used for elephants).
