Goon-a silent monk — ARCHIVED

Post by Ayush Tiwari »

Definiton-Silence,he is coming. From the night sky, from the hell, from the heaven,FROM THE UNDERGROUND.He is an undead who wanted to become a zombie ,his desire was never fulfilled now he is a .............

Attack-4
Armour 2
P.armour 1
Movement 3 and.........
Rest things are not very commmon and can decided.
And its special powers-
Hypnosis-Can control a unit for 3 turn as he wishes. This works best on human and orcs.Has 30% chances to miss other units. And has 80%chances to miss on Undeads(if enemy is undead too).

Invincibility-This one has to be unlocked and then researched. After that it can be used.It is like this-Goon becomes unstopable and everything in stats becomes X10.

Duplication-Can make '1' duplicate of any undead unit in an adjacent tile.

The Sunset-Randomly creates a unit every 6 turns. This one has to be researched too.

Regenaration-Increases HP of any friendly unit by 50%.

Can be produced in a TC and if there is any such units producing building for undead.

I'm guessing this came from a horror movie

Hypnosis: the 3 turns thing, as well as racial specific points, probably just leave it easier to make this into the convert spell and be done.

Invincibility: sounds a bit overpowered, don't you think? X10 is just too much.

Duplication: might make illusions, like this

Sunset: interesting idea. Is this any random unit at all, or just any random undead?

Regeneration: I'd probably be the first to say undead need a healer, but the rest of his powers are unit creation based. I'd suggest sticking to that theme for this guy, and giving undead their own dedicated healer.

Yes it comes from a movie.

1.Hypnosis is a type of temporary conversion well if it needs to be simple then conversion is also good.I like conversion but conversion resistant unit are really ..... and in hypnosis we can convert anyone as I told above in certain chances.

Invincibility-Might be too much really because this is an undead.Yes it can be X5 or?

3-Duplicate-I meant a half-than real powerful shadow copy.

4-No idea. What would work better.Random undead or Random any unit.

5-I agree.Undeads are sometimes especially zombies come up weak against simple units like pikemans too.

i like the fact that undead can not heal themselves (healing is considered a holy magick) but i guess it will not harm anyone if we pretend that a potion gives this effect.

I think that undeads need to stay with weak heals so i hope the heal spell will have a short range (1-2) just to balance it .

I proposed an undead healer. It definitely isn't interfering with the "holy" aspect of healing. More the opposite direction.

I'd suggest sunset give only undead. Duplication could create a copy of any ally, but with vanishing 3. Give it a cooldown of 3, and you're in business. Might have to make all spells of the copy start in cooldown mode, to prevent abuse of copies making copies making copies......

I'd change approach for undeads. No normal healing since they don't simply recover, but we might ue a unit that "repair" undeads, like sewing them back in shape, but we also shouldn't apply healing on units that you reanimate.

Maybe a new unit with such ability? Something like Sunrise Samurai's Stitcher

I think it can be no-heal but a repair option.
*Repair option is for undead workers.I think this way it is sensible and simple.

It looks too strong for an unit that is dealing 4 dmg

There are reason for others also like:
Goon 3 is like necromancer.
Rest two I also like(especially the 2nd one)
But they look like swordsman etc.But according to fanatical look, second one is nice.
