If you want a dark unit you need ti play with light and shadow. If you make a simple plain black unit will become impossible to see any kind of detail.

This isnt an conversion, this is "hit steal". flesh and blood unit is converted to the color of the armor which hits, with armor consuming itself

But the final result is the same... Also you can convert without consuming a unit.

So you can convert units that are 100% immune to conversion? This one bypasses it

Its stealthed, and cost is reasonable, so this can be considered an defensive or ambush unit

Why not? :| Undeads need some buffs anyway

Wait, what it we make it so it can convert all units UNDER 100% resist, but not units with 100% resist?

It is like an assassin but better since it simply convert... It should be based on a certain resistance

I think this would be cool if it also adds armor to the unit it converts.

You know, since they are now armored in it lol

Undead units could use a little "fortified" buff.
How large would an active buff image be? (Pixel Size)

Try this: assassin effect, but has a chance to convert instead, equal to the normal convert chance, with spell resistance factored in.

Isn't still better to use a mummy to kill and lich to convert? Really I can't see the point.

Considering that Daniel wants to reduce the votes frequency I'd like to choose carefully what to put in the vote list.

Make giants completely immune to this unit. It's ammusing to think such tiny armor could squish a giant. Let alone FIT ON THEM!

So this thing goes around forcing itself on to people and control their bodies... Sounds great but there is one flaw with it. It shouldn't be stealth, I'm pretty sure you can see a shining piece of armor stumbling around in the woods, or at least hear it. It shouldn't move too far and a priest should be able to exorcise the armor.

Well, he can always lay around right? Or even impersonate a soldier, or even hide in armory
So stealth makes sense

Mummy is for killing, not for converting, so i suggest not involving it.

Lich isnt THAT effective at converting, especially with his low range, that armor always has 100% chance to convert (if unit isnt 100%) and is stealthed

Mmm so, no conversion for giants, siege weapons, ents and so on makes sense but realizing that will requires a lot of work

So this will only control melee units, at least ground troops. And also become stealth once it's attached onto someone. Should dogs able to see him or magical units when notice he's being control, it should be a chance to save him.

The fact is that it might be not worth spend 6 turns to convert a single melee unit.

We need to rethink cost too

Only inconvenience thing for a person is to lose Shielded man, axeman, two handed sword man. Those are the only worth converting. Unless it could convert unit on horse.

It can only target infantry, which cost around 2-4 turns.
I think it could be a viable capture unit with cost of 4.

Maybe we should make it convert all infantry (even with 100% spell resist)
