1. Druid already has accepted change for spells.
2. Why wolf can buff anyone? What type of "armor" it gives (arcane armor, runic armor, skin armor, wood armor, metal armor, furry armor...)?
3. Do not use "moon" for basic race units because "New Moon" are confirmed sub for elves to avoid confusion.

If possible they could be like pets for the moon elves subrace and their buff is Magical Defense
or
a spell that can light a small undiscovered area for early game and its gonna be like a small area 10 tiles near them (if its too much maybe 5) but its not gonna be strong....just slightly stronger than wolf

i prefer not ot give for actual animals and animal-like units any buffing abilities.
As for ability to open part of map from fog of war - 1. still see no logiic why wolf should have it; 2. elves already have good sight range that is increased even more via tech.

I do not see any reason for moon wolves in the first place.
It is like "generic wolf with «moon» word before its normal name".
Why not "Moon squig", "Moon komodo", "Moon griffin", "Moon elephant"?
That is not how we must make new animal-like units.
Think about more unique animal, not a different type of same one.

When I first saw the name I thought that this could have been a summon from a newmoon elf caster.
I don't think that we need a standalone animal unit (in general I do not even like current animal scouts) but a summon could work.

I understand the pleasure to see a unit you suggested in game (it is how I started), but you are spacing from an idea to another.
I suggest to put that idea in standby until we'll start implementing new moon elves, so no reason to think about that too much.
