Maori - IMPLEMENTED
Maori Warrior
Cost: 2
HP: 11
Move: 4
Attack: 3/4*
Armour: 0/0**
* It will have two attacks. The first with a small club weapon (Mere) doing 3 damage. Second attack with spear type weapon (Taiaha) doing 4 pierce damage. It should have bonus of 250% against anything on 4 legs (horses etc)
** No armour, but due to dodge factor does not get countered
Special: The Maori gains HP back (3HP) from a kill (by eating them).
Thx Elvenprincess for image

Re: Maori
I am an expert on Maori culture and tradition after a quick google search. I think they need to be like santa from hardeep's christmas map, but with tongues instead of beards. Some ideas of what they could look like:

The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.
Re: Maori
On the serious side, Maoris would be a very good addition.
Well, just because they believed that they received their opponents strength and soul after eating them doesn't mean that they actually did.Disco wrote:so maybe they could revitalise their health after each kill.
Thanks!

So you mean full of good cheer and big fat ol' stomachs?DoomCarrot wrote: I think they need to be like santa from hardeep's christmas map.
Or an overgrown beard (tongue) that can split and lash out murderously and become dr. Octopus?
There never was much hope... just a fool's hope

Re: Maori
I think it is fine to gain things right after skirmish. Like the lifelink in aof.
Re: Maori
My thoughts on stats of Maori.
Cost: 3/4
HP: 10
Move: 4
Attack: 3/4*
Armour: 1/0**
* My thoughts is, it will have two attacks. The first with a small club weapon (Mere) doing 3 damage. Second attack with spear type weapon (Taiaha) doing 4 pierce damage. I have no idea if this do-able. But would be ACE!
No armour, but do to dodge factor
Special: I really like the idea of the Maori gaining HP back from a kill (by eating them). It doesnt need to be OP, maybe 2-3 HP
Elvenprincess has kindly said she will work on the design
Any thoughts about the stats/abilities guys?

Re: Maori
Hmm, that's a cool idea, having a blunt or pierce attack. This would make it a very versatile unit.

Re: Maori
It is a good concept, but it must be outlined in black and have teamcoloring somewhere.

Re: Maori
Looks pretty good elvenprincess!
Although, the cape seems kind of strange. Did Maori warriors actually wear capes?

Thanks!
I was trying to make a sort of "feather cape", but didn't know if it fits the image. Do you think I should take it off?
