Gaelic head hurlers

These were woadic warriors that actually threw severed heads at their enemies, and the heads were covered in lime (a corrosive substance)

Hp: 14
Attack: 6 (deals poison dmg and affects normal armor, not Pierce)
Rng: 4
Spd: 4
Armor: 0/0 (affected by warpaint)
Vision: 6
SR: 0

Similar in stats to an axe thrower except it doesn't have a bonus against buildings

I hate poison .
Should also have a disorient affect then making it cost 3.

Corrosive substance?can be a ability to thower axe covered by lime,can reduces enemy defences by 1/1 with 5 turns duration only units no buildings or siege machines

Maybe it should not be about corrosion but about some fear effect similar to berserk but on action not as aura (like loyalty promotion, burning etc).

Upd: I think the effect of fear can be immense. Sort of -5 to attack and maybe -2 armor. As a discussion it also can improve movement with one as unit would like to flee away as fast as possible 😅

Description:
Fierce Woadic warriors that threw their enemy's severed heads at battle. They cover the severed heads with lime(material) aka Calcium oxide which is a corrosive substance that can severely irritate and burn one's skin. These warriors used this effectively to make their weapons(Severed heads) effective at combat.

Mental resistance: 25℅
Passive effects:
Corrosive projectile
5 DMG per turn for 3 turns.

Not in my view. But i must say - The negative effect will be lethal in battle.
When compared to p.archer this Gaul head hurler has cons such as - Lower range, doesn't benefit from blacksmith upg, lower base attack, trained only at its respective factory, and No dmg bonuses. Pros are - Powerful damaging negative effect, High speed and is a Celtic Category unit.

Miss speed: Not needed imho. Axe throwers, stone throwing peasant, slingers for example also has a difficult time with hitting their targets irl (unless has undergone special training or combat experienced) but has no Miss Chance.

Imagine dying because you got hit by a poisoned head. Sounds like something out of a cartoon.

I like the idea, but I'm not a fan of the poison damage aspect. It's a tad silly, and poison can be very annoying.
I'd rather have it take away armour and mental resistance.

I think they should have stats similar to the gaelic warrior, but have the head throwing as a secondary ability.
(maybe with a cooldown depending on how powerful the effect is)

People in this theme say they don't like applying poison to this unit. But corrosion effect is pretty much the same. And you know, head can be easily deflected by the shield, so it won't affect your hp so much. In my opinion cut heads thrown towards the enemy definetely reduce will to fight. As mentioned above this action also affects mental resistance. But basically it should be melee unit with special ability. You cannot just throw heads. They are limited :pirate:
