Scientist can research new technologies such as gunpowder, explosives. This could lead to riflemen and canons. Maybe build a science lab to research (build) the scientist. The scientist can collect minerals from debris around the map. (Rocks n trees n stuff) could lead to awesome new stuff for the game. Tanks!

the WWS (world war strategy) is already under development, and there will be a lot of tanks...

in this game, the gunpowder was already mentioned to put in, but then, the game would loose the medieval feeling.
This is Hungary and winter is coming.

Thanks for the idea, but: yes, AOS will never get out of medieval, gunpowder can be possible, but only at maximum level you seein AOK (age of kings) so a hand cannoneer, or mounted cannoneed, or an inaccurate siege cannon.

no modern stuff will ever be in this game.
