The precursor of the legendary AH-01 Cobra, i present you the experimental Sioux Scout!

Here you can learn a bit about it.
https://sites.google.com/site/stingrays ... ioux-scout

It was designed to scout and make opportunity attacks on weak spots, clear the path, provide cover for landing helicopters, before, while and after they had delivered allied troops in the field, it was
commonly reconized as one of the first gunships ever made, an ancestral of the modern attack helicopters.

So, i haven't figured out stats for it yet, habilities or other stuff... All i can say is that it isn't well armed or armored, it just carry two 7.62mm machineguns (m60), but it could be adapted to carry also two rocket launchers (I will consider making an img with it carrying rockets if needed). But would be nice to know what you guys have to say.
Breaking the barrier of "work for the job" to "put the job to work for you" is a thing that i want to reach someday aswell... Probably i should make some notes about it...

I think we are limited to ww2? Especially because we are having problems making ww2 alone adding the cold war stuff, at least now, doesn't sound like a good idea.

Well, it isn't problem if we add it as campaign only unit, also we kinda have some playable post war stuff already like the pershing on the game... Btw you're right, to add this as playable unit we must expand the age/era to group post war stuff aswell... How? idk... But every decade of cold war it had a minor conflict starting somewhere, so perhaps, group post war stuff in decades might be a good starting point...

Anyway, this guy was built in 1963, on the very middle of Vietnam war, to support the transport helicopters on their assaults (i will make these transport helicopters aswell, but first we need to create the helicopter concept for the game with this one...).

That's the idea, but since it would be the first helicopter of the game, it would be a experimental unit anyway, but idk what would be the stats for it, neighter the way you would like them to work. Btw i made this hovering version aswell... I believe you would like to make a general hovering hability to helicopters to simulate landings or low flying.

like the pershing on the game
persing was in WW2 see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M26_Pershing

we dont need to, and i will not expand the "era" levels. this is a campaign only unit, if put in a campaign map than there it is - not producable in any factory

Ah right, i forgot it was put in the very end of the war... Btw i was thinking on super Pershing and Patton tanks, my bad

Well, having a definitions list with post-war stuff will be good in the future when we finish all WW2 units, i believe that ppl will like to play with post war stuff aswell on random games. But i get that we should first finish the ww2 content...

Btw, weren't planned ww1 content aswell? Beside pre-ww2 stuff? Like bi-planes, zeppelins, mounted riflemans, first gen tanks as that British MK-1 or French FT chars?

only ww2 is planned.
ww1 units can only come if they where used in ww2 (eg. some bi-planes)
