Attack 6 and range 4 seems a bit weak for a ship with broadside cannons though lol

How about 10 atks and 6 Ranges. Perfect Accuracy. Agree?

It's cannons, so you need to research ballistics, then gunpowder, then spend 10 turns on this sucker.
10 power
8 range
Accuracy penalty, but it benefits from the area damage tech (to simulate several cannons at once)
Bonuses should look like cannon bonuses
Carry capacity 2 (after wagons are considered, that's 6 troops. Doubling that to 12 on one ship is just too much)

I would give it 6 sight, because with 4 sight he can shoot only 4 tiles away

Nice! And possibly 4 speed?

I think 3 speed is balance, because it is heavy(high health and 1 armor), can hold 2 units (e.g Wagon)

How about this,
Carry capacity 4 (but cannot carry sieges or wagons, only infantry and mounts)
Damage:20 (same as cannon ship)
Has area effect (many cannon balls)
Range: 6 (broadside cannons cant be lifted up to raise range so shorter range)

By workers, it could initially cost 31 turns, which reduces to 21 turns with ambidextria

And since it is kind of a late game unit, most players would have built many cannon towers around the sea so I think its quite balanced, but its just my opinion

I think MightyGuy's stats is more reasonable. It is supposed to be like Armed Transport, not specialised in fighting, but can transport troops and fend off some raiders

Well just my opinion, but a ship with such high health carrying two wagons which could also carry 6 rams and 12 infranty, that's like 20 units in one structure that is also hard to destroy and when it reaches shore the wagons can also reach deeper inside, may be as deep as where the opponent has made his first blacksmith  , its like the ultimate siege engine that makes siege towers pale in comparison which has only 1 speed (although if wagons could fly from them  but I didn't use siege towers that much so don't yet know wat can be garrisoned in them)

Or simply make that only flesh and blood units can enter...

Well being able to move such a giant deep into the enemy defences also requires a lot of strategic planning and carrying 20 units with 6 rams will take a long time to make too so I guess we should just keep mighty guy's stats, use it in battle and then see if it balances well

In medieval times there was no "big" and "small" ships.
They became to be as a thing in 16 century.

Ships of the line? The colonial ships that managed up to 72 guns per broadside type ship? *Gulps*

Like an improvement to the cannon ship? What do you mean?

Medieval ships were mainly transportation for the armies.

So you want a ship with high carry cap, but also a decent amount of firepower to protect itself right?

Do you mean a Carrack? Which were in the 1600's and did not get cannons till later.
