Terrain Effects
Hello, all. New to this game, I like it very much. One question regarding terrain. Clearly terrain impacts movement, but are any defensive bonuses in effect ? For example, infantry defending on a mountain or in forests. Or conversely, tanks taking more damage attacking units on that terrain or against a city, vs fighting on open plains.
Re: Terrain Effects
It's not a thing currently. Well we could ask Daniel to add such modifiers, tho that seems like a lot of work.

Re: Terrain Effects
Thanks for the quick response, Stratego. And for even soliciting a suggestion about it.
Here's an example from Dai Senryaku VII (turn-based modern warfare game for the Xbox for those who remember it). The numbers are % defensive bonus for terrain.
Wasteland - 5
Grove - 10
Forest - 15
Hill - 20
Mountain - 25
Refinery - 5
Airport (also Port ?) - 10
Factory - 15
City - 15
Capital - 20
No bunkers or trenches in that game. And as for cities and facilities, the rates of reduction in Age of Wars already seem about right.
