No Gems for maps from AoS fans?
Why the maps from AoS fans don't have a gems, and it is only a stars? Why this is not the same to the other games (AoF, AoWW) that can earn gold/gems for maps from fans? I Think you want to put the gems for maps from AoS fans

I don't think other Ao variants have payment in gems for those maps either. They are simply too easy/impossible to be paid in gems.
I am, indeed, a big Witch King and Middle Earth fan if you didn't notice.

No. He ment "maps from fans" exactly. Just now checked AoW. It does pay gold.
AoS fans maps giving gems was turned off, after adding many campaigns (probably people complaining about excess of gems).
I still remember getting my first gems from Levin maps.

That was directed to Wolts when he reads LoA's message in the future.
But yeah, excess gems is still a ridiculous thing to complain about. It allows betting, buying market maps, and unlocking units.

yes, awful
Re: No Gems for maps from AoS fans?
Sorry puss.
But the gems there were even more unbalanced, than in campaigns. Few maps are easy and fast to finish, while some require over hundred turns and careful thinking (sometimes lucky prediction).
One map (don't remember which one) had me set back by 30+ turns of moving after 100+ turn, because I took wrong turn (without any clues) in FoW of course.
I haven't checked if it's still the same.
If it is, then changing gems amount for specific maps options is just asking to be implemented.
