They were the turkish elite cavalry, equiped with long spears and bows.

Well.
hp: 20
armor: 4
pierce armor: 1
attack: 10
bonuses: swordsman: 100%
(and if it is possible) when it attacks a seriouslyy injured enemy it's attack doubles.
This is Hungary and winter is coming.

lol :)
I would say cost 4. (I assume its speed is 5) It would then be balanced to the knight. (By which I mean a special sort of knight.)
Thanks!

actually 4 is good. they were less used, because they were only sent n battle when the enemy forces started to break by the infantry.

Umm...this is a specialized mounted unit, right? Shouldn't it's training take a little longer than a normal knight? Military special forces have to go through a lot more training than normal troops...i'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just trying to look at the logic...if they have to learn the lance and the bow AND the saddle, that's a lot of training time...wouldn't you think?

Well, no.
They were much like a mopping squad which destroyed the running enemy. They had kinda light armor and damascus steel swords.

Actually hussars are not neceseriliy heavy units. for example the Hungarien hussars were a mix of heavy and light cavalry.
they used heavy weapons, but their armor was made from leather so they kept their mobility.

If they have just light armor they should not have more armor then knight. IIRC knights have armor 2/2. Maybe then go with attack 9, armor 1/1 but toss in high bonus against infantry, at least 100 % (to just barely one hit kill Swordsman with 18 HP). I would say like 120 % my be enough so Spahi can also one hit kill basic Broadswordman but I don't recall how those are healthy. And raise the HP to 23ish?

Btw, according to Wikipedia Spahi is French light cavalry while Ottoman cavalry is called Sipahi

There are apparently two types with multiple subtypes:
  • Timarli Sipahis: "They wore chainmail, rode barded horses and carried lances and javelins, and fought as medium cavalry. ... The standard equipment of Rumeli Sipahis of the classical Ottoman period consisted of a round shield, lance, sword, javelins and plated chainmail. Their horses were barded. Standard equipment of Anatolian Sipahis in the same era was a round shield, composite Turkish bow, arrows, kilij (Turkish sword) and leather or felt armor. Besides these, Sipahis of both provinces were equipped with bozdogan and şeşper maces, and aydogan, teber and sagir axes. Anatolian Sipahis sometimes also carried lances."
  • Kapikulu Sipahis: "They used plated mail, chainmail, round shield, sword, composite bow, arrows, lance, bozdogan mace and axe. They acted as reserve cavalry and bodyguards of Ottoman sultan and vezirs."
