Windshaper

Post by makazuwr32 »

Elf, who decided to control wind itself

Elven form:
Health - 20
Attack - 0 (can't attack)
Defence - 0/2
Speed - 2
Sight - 6
Actions/turn - 1
Trainable at Temple of Nature
Upd.: Dodge arrows - 20% (base, only in elven form)
Cost - 5 turns
Abilities:
Spark (range 3, no cooldown) - gives enemy unit "Blinded" effect for 2 turns that slows unit by 1 tile and substracts 1/1 armor from it. Ignores spell resistance and stackable with other ways of slowing (but not with itself). Can be disenchanted or healed.
Tornado (range 4, cooldown 5) - Immovable invurable summoned vanishing (2) neutral unit which deals 10 magic damage on beginning of each player's turn to all units in range 2. Can be passed through by all units still - it CAN'T be used as a wall. (Effect can be made as aura, that gives poison-similar non-stackable with itself effect to all units in the range)
Aura of the wind (range 5, cooldown 3, lasts 2 rounds, castable on your or allied units) - A 5-range aura, that lowers damage and range of ALL enemy ranged units (including towers, mechanical and Castle-type units) by 2.
Transform into Raven - Transforms Windshaper into Raven.
Upd.: can't get elven craftsman upgrades.

Raven form:
Health - 20
Attack - 0
Defence - 0/1
Speed - 5
Sight - 9
Actions/turn - 1
Abilities - Transform into Elven form.
Can't cast any other spells in Raven form.

Interesting idea. I assume the tornado can be added as a neutral "building" that can be walked through, with vanishing. Wind aura reduces enemy range. Neat idea, as it nicely forces the enemy to shoot the sentinel/ent you put this on, rather than your more vulnerable archers.

And also forces elves to use some tanky melee's for this aura and gives elven archers more survivability

About tornado i don't think that vanishing will work on neutrals.

Since it would be stupid to put an archer in radius 5 of the enemy, yeah. Most elf armies already hide behind some tanks, even if they put disposable summons around them to help.

And neutrals get a turn too. Vanishing works just fine on them. Corpses vanish without a problem.

Updated, added compatibility with dodge arrows, added 10% base dodge arrows, added ban to any elven craftsman upgrades for him.
