I wish you could create a paladin that heals other infantry and have the highest health. ;)

I know it look really like a templar but its better it has a higher health and damage it it can heal other units like the templar but it has a shorter range

Maybe you can think a difference between them

Yeah i think.. Hey SovietColonel, if you want a stronger infantry that can heals , just reasearch a tech for it to improve more its Damage or Durability or what. (you dont need to make a holy knight, just make a tech for templar if it isn't already exist

The tech
Templar to paladin cannot be created
The idea was taken by Templar to crusader and it is already implemented sorry

What now Am I going to abandoned this idea?

I have an idea. Your unit holy knight will be a religious European fanatics. Cannot be converted but can convert other unit with force.

I got a idea for a inquisitor, also maybe we can turn this topic to ideas for church/cathedral units

Inquisitor might work as a better converter than healers and priest but the converted unit will lose quite a lot of health. Inquisitors also have cooldown for 1-2 turns.

But the only holy nights I know of were the templers in the crusades.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

History books are usually garbage. It's way easier to use the internet for actual historical research. Not to mention how much more accurate it can be with the right sources.

That can be the same with any book.

And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.

And see the reward of the wicked.

So we were talking about holy knights that aren't templers.
A thousand may fall at your side,

I like the picture "Godofkigs" I always loved the templers anyway though.

GoK the first one looks good. The second one would look better with a templar foot knight instead of a knight

I would think not but how about a close similarity.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
