undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
A tech that enables an ability for some undead units (skeletons/zombies) to be able to eat up a corpse and that will makes them stronger: +1 attack + 1/+1 armor.
or something like this.
tech cost: 5 turns.

Re: undead: strenght feast
very excellent tech! feel like a soul eater that eats souls and become stronger and bigger xD
Re: undead: strenght feast
that is a perpect and useful tech for weaker units like skeletons and zombie, after eating up a lot of corpse they will become strong and stronger.is

Re: undead: strenght feast
This one is like the one i propsed for orcs some times ago were they should have got +1 atk for every kill
My suggestion is: +1 attack and +1/+1 armor per corpse is a bit too much if the tech is going to affect every undead. I suggest that eating a corpse an undead unit get a random bonus among these:
+1 attack
+1 armor
+1 pierce armor
+5 maxhp/hp
+1 speed (like 2% chance) if you happen to find better joints or extra legs
+1 action (like 1% chance) like adding an extra arm
+50% spell resistance (about 5%)
OR
we might decide to vary the bonus depending on the kind of corpse you eat
basic corpse: +5 hp
swordman corpse: +1 armor
spearman corpse: +1 attack
archer corpse: +1 pierce armor
horseman corpse: +2 attack or +1 speed
dragon corpse: +5 attack or +1 action
Caster corpse: +50% spell resistance

Re: undead: strenght feast
currently there is no such features, than we can make like +1attack +1 pierce armor (or if still too much than only the attack)

I think it might be ok since those who mostly rely on arrows are elves, that are those against whom the undeads struggle more.
Any other opinions?

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
Use this to upgrade the existing consume corpse spell. Requires and replaces consume corpse.
Feast
Consume adjacent corpse to heal for 15, gain 5 max hp, and 1 power.
Currently, consume corpse is a waste of corpses. You can get 10 or so life from a corpse, or you can get a whole new skeleton, adding more hp, plus attack power. This would at least give a reason to do so, for the healing plus upgrade. No armor though. I've seen what helmsmasher can become with 20+ armor. We don't need that kind of ability here.

Bumping.
Can we get this in, @Alexander82 ?
Even if just as additional ability.

Much more balance and reasonable

This is Too Op like way too op.
Allowing every undead to pretty much have veteran is too much.
People will just use grave digger to dig corpses up and start making a army of super powered units.
( Why did no one mention this?? )

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
This tech have been made before the gravedigger
I also think it can be op this way (especially the armor bonus)
We might reconsider it to give a different kind of bonus
For example 100% regeneration and a higher but temporary bonus (+5 attack for 3 turns and you can only have one instance of this effect)
What do you think?

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
Full regen + additional attack?
Actually i like this variant.
Undeads need some temporary buffs.

Or like some high cooldown?
Either way I like it

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
I think it can be used every turn as long as you have corpse nearby.
But it won't give permanent bonuses, only temporary, like strengthen, double strike or dragon's might.

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
Ok I see but must it have 100% Regeneration?
Can it not be 50% Regeneration?

Maybe it is ok 50% since a high hp unit would still have a great advantage from it.

Re: undead: strenght feast ACCEPTED
since there is eating corpse already I'd like to make this tech a corpse fueled self buff. We might consider giving differet kind of buffs to different units (e.g. range for ranged, armor for shielded units, attack for pikes, speed for cavalry...)
