We can't make 64 wide units (if possible we would have already done that)

Re: red dragon
we can make 64x64 units, but it needs to be very rare and mostly flying becuause a ground unit would not be able to pass tru an bridge (if it has 1 tile with), or a narrow passage.Alexander82 wrote:We can't make 64 wide units (if possible we would have already done that)
maybe we can face problems on the production "spawning" part, but we can test it.
also structures can be almost any sized if they do not move

i agree with sir Daniel

Re: red dragon
Ok. I remember that with the old dragons you told us to stay in the 32 width limit. If you say it is ok then perfectDaniel (the dev) wrote:we can make 64x64 units, but it needs to be very rare and mostly flying becuause a ground unit would not be able to pass tru an bridge (if it has 1 tile with), or a narrow passage.Alexander82 wrote:We can't make 64 wide units (if possible we would have already done that)

Re: red dragon
So i guess its better to make it real op but also really costy, like, maybe double all stats and cost?

Re: red dragon
i think your idea is good but this is not a paying unit, this is summonable. I think this dragon should be spawn by a structure, structures that has a magical power that can summon a red dragon (in a one time).
if the dragon is died the specific structure could spawn again a red dragon. but you can spawn it by sacrifice 3 unkown but special units to the specific structure
Steps:
specific structure » 3 unkown but special units separate to the specific structure (move 3 unkown but special units to the specific structure,go to inside) » spawn dragon (instantly) » 3 unkown but special units sacrified (disapeared) » structure cant summon a red dragon again until the spawned dragon died.
Agree? its complicated but strong and very rarely.

Re: red dragon
New stats:
Cost: 7 or 8(tell me which one is better) (ground) (has the fire breath ability)
Hp 75
Atk 20 (area damage:1)
Arm./p.arm 5/5
Speed 5
Sight 6
I wanted to make it something like a cave troll but a bit stronger. Do u think it balanced?

Re: red dragon
this dragon is the strongest dragon in all races. so you want this unit is a costly unit, this unit is size 2x2 (64x64) big unit.
this unit is a high cost unit, i suggest it's 14 turns like "Tie Fighter" on AOS game.

Re: red dragon
Actually, imo the strongest dragon should be "god dragon", that summon unit i talked about. (Already made a topic for it.) My idea was to make red dragon just a bit stronger than other dragons (that have cost 5), so i guess raising its cost to 14 is way too much.

Re: red dragon
cost 5 is super too OP, what will happen now to 5 turns units like humans (e.ge mage, templar knight, etc) 5 turn units is a bit a bit weaker
cost Abilities (based on often uses)
cost 1: really weak units but best for scouting
cost 2: basic units balanced unit
cost 3: more abilities/talents but lot of problems/offers
cost 4: hard to kill, talented(hero being)
cost 5: easy to kill but some talents
cost 6: very talented unit
cost 7: avarage unit
cost 8: very balanced unit
cost 14: bit weaker but powerful
these costs i observed.
i suggest it cost 7 and hp 50.

Re: red dragon
No, what i meant is:
If u havent noticed, ALL dragon units created for scaledfolk so far have cost 5, so i wanted to have red dragon have cost 7/8.

Re: red dragon
No, i think cost 7/8 and hp 70/75 will be better. I based its stats on cave troll. Imagine a slightly stronger and more costy cave troll.

Re: red dragon
cave troll is so slow but this dragon is fast or same speed to cavalry & can easily attacks enemies. (can't go away causedl of fast flying/moving). imagine it carefully. ('_')

It is like a mix of human and orc dragon + troll armor and trample
It is really too strong for that cost...
