Hi,
Why you wrote it two times?
I think something like demons and fairys is better.

Re: list of races:
Question: "Night Elves"...does that mean Drow? If not, Drow could be a great additional race...sort of the antithesis of the Eldar....balint wrote:humans-

It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people wonder if you're a fool than to open it and remove all doubt...

So you understand what i mean? The Drow could be either an external "darkside" race with its own agendas or it could be developed for a playable race, since there are huge numbers of fantasy reference material for them...

Re: list of races:
yes.
It might be also possible to make a drow race, which have a drow versoon of each nations special units. such like elven ranger, dwarven axemen....
what do you think?

Re: list of races:
It sounds cool, but considering the huge amounts of reference available on Drow culture, religion, military units and practices, etc., they can have their entire own unit sets and magic...e.g., their religion is based on worship of Lolth, demon queen of spiders, and they have a huge amount of dark magic spells--they're basically an evil race of subterranean elves....

Re: list of races:
That's cool...some games that include them are Champions Of Norrath (ps2), A Bard's Tale (ps2), and some literature reference: the Elric of Melniboné series by Michael Moorcock, Lolth Rising (i forget who the author is), and there are more, but I'm having a brain-fart at the moment...
Also, if any of you are familiar with Dungeons& Dragons (Pen and paper version), there are reference books for it that discuss the Drow extensively...specifically, Monster Manual, Monster Manual II, Deities & Demigods, Creature Compendium, and Fiend Folio, all written or cowritten by Gary Gygax...i know the books are still on the market, but you may be able to access text from the books through Google...
And yes, i played Dungeons & Dragons, years ago, when i was young...that's what we did before there was an internet...lol
