The AI - units homogen units are built
How come the AI make only a specific type of units, In one account I literally had to fight a army of Light Cavalry and archers.

Because the Ai thinks it can win by swarming with a single type of unit.

I actually lost to someone recently using those units lol. Well he did use fire archers too

That is terrible, especially on AoF where the new units aren't used at all and they also never make mega buildings

Yes the only way to make ai to build them if we define which units they are good against so on every new unit if you help define i can set in json.

Can you allow a certain % of random? Or maybe you might tag some units as "special" and the ai produce a fixed amount of special units
Also ai should build mega buildings or it will also have less units

random: sure there is a list to let "default" production that is random, but that is used ONLY when there is no "best agains me" setting of the target unit.
castles: they are different problem: AI can not measure up mega building space yet, so it can build it partially over mountain - that is why i turned it off until i implement proper building logic.

I see, but can't you let always a certain random amount?
Let's say i make cavalry
The ai will make every factory build pikemen
I wanted to suggest that if i make cavalry the ai should make 50% pikemen and 50% random units, cause if i start making cavalry and then switch to other units (as it is normal) the ai wouldn't end up with an army of useless pikemen

No. It is good if you only have cav. Than ai should build pikes. If you have swormen too ai will buld archers and pikes mixed. I think it is fine.

I see. I find pretty easy defeating ai, cause it never make advanced units

the reason is not the "randomization" but that not all units are set to be good against others (if more than one unit is set to be against some other unit category than they are chosed randomly)
eg.: against swordman good the archer and cavalry, so ai choses randomly to build from these (if i remember right to the setting)
so if you miss a unit, tell me which unit is that, and tell me against which unit shall i set it to be good against. and we will see how AI builsd them. lets make a try if you have in mind an example.

dont make list, write only one sample, and i will set it, and you can check if AI really builds that or not.

Could you make the ai in a way that it calculates damage dealt to enemy units by the units that you can make and gives a certain % of production to the unit that makes the highest damage?
For example i'm simulating a war between 2 AI, undead vs orc (all automatics)
Orcs never build monster's cave and uruk tents
Against the enemy cavalry a uruk tent would be of great help thanks to uruk pikeman and against enemy casters (that undeads use a lot) uruk archers would be of great use

I'm testing making ai fight each other
Right now they seems to make monster's cave in a decent amount but almost never make uruk tent (that should be one of priorities having at the same time infantry, archers and anti cavalry)
Also i'd like to suggest for the ai to give more priority to upgrades and to chain upgrades together.
For example if i make an upgrade to heavy wolf riders the other syngergic techs would be wolf rider to warg rider and orc armor (both would affect the same unit of the 1st tech and increase the effect of that strategy)
If you invest in orc warrior upgrade you should make also the 2nd upgrade and the orc armor increase
Also AI should have a higher % to produce upgraded units.
