Re: Damage of effects
I like the fact three fire archers can sink a ship, love this..but I also think, that if a ship is hit once gets away it should sink three turns after hit if unattended by worker? Poison maybe five turns from hit? )
and remember, wherever your at,there you are

This wouldn't work, for balancing reasons: if one of my ships fires fire arrows, your fleet is doomed in a sea map, or at sea, or anywhere without workersRiverRaider 1097 wrote:I like the fact three fire archers can sink a ship, love this..but I also think, that if a ship is hit once gets away it should sink three turns after hit if unattended by worker? Re: Damage of effects
I have never figured fire/posion out.
I just keep shooting things till they have more flames than health.

I know it kinda goes from flamed to explosion, I think by the wee pic in the top left corner...Although i never figured out how a fire archer can cause a castle (600% ) to explode lol

Re: Damage of effects
Yes, from my experience, it seems to be:
1 flame = 1-3 damage
2 flame = more than 3 damage
3-4 flame = a bit of damage more than 4
5 or more flame = random and mega damage
I am probably totally off on this though, because 100% of the time I try to predict a fire, the unit either survives unexpectedly or burns unexpectedly.

Re: Damage of effects
I understand the problem
Also i've found that when i hit a unit with the first fire arrow it seems to make a good damage, but when i hit it with a second fire arrow the damage seems less.

All i seem to see is:
1 flame, then the next shot it goes to a "explosion/star" like symbol?
It never gets more than the explosion like symbol..
I experience the same mate.Alexander82 wrote:I understand the problem

But I still think 600% damage to a castle is WAY to high for a single fire archer. How many shots does one take, to take out a castle with these bonuses?
I can understand siege weapons, and assassins..but an arrow lit with fire? lol (im still abit butt-hurt from my last loss )

Re: Damage of effects
Disco, if you look in the little corner description of a selected unit, it will show exactly how bad the fire is.
