As long as your favorite book isn't fifty shades of grey

Only then will I personally ask Daniel to kick you ;)

I actually haven't read that one... I was referring to cujo and tons other horror books, and given some of there content ( violence, gore , language, adult situations...
etc )I wasn't sure if I should post any of them on here and dont plan to.

And get your minds out of the gutter... I wasn't talking about THOSE kinds of books, God this is a open forum that any kid could access I'm not going to say something really stupid like that on here

I don't think there is anything wrong with mentioning books though, is my point :)

And I for one, actually have read the hunger games! But it seems I'm a loner :?

I've never understood why people are offended/turned off by violence/gore/anything adult in books though. I mean, if you can't handle that sort of stuff without being emotionally scarred, just... Don't read the book

I like all five books in the lunatic slayer adventures. Starting with soul hunter and ending in city of death. Pretty good evolution of character.

Im also eagerly awaiting the third book of the sorcery ascendent sequence by Mitchell Hogan.
So far its been a very vibrant world.

Ever heard of the sword of truth series? Maybe close to the darkest book series Ive ever read.
Unless you count the Bible.

Hey guys I found a really cool old book in my basement with a little post-it label that says "necronomicon." It looks pretty cool, but I don't want to waste my time reading it if it's boring. Has anyone else read it before? Is it good, on a scale of 1-10?

Oops sorry, I thought it would make a great book for reading aloud, then when I finished I saw the fine legal print that said not to do that because it causes all sorts of weird things. my house has been kinda strange ever since then though, so I think I'm gonna go get a lawyer and sue the publisher. Also I think maybe I should go find a chainsaw and a boomstick, cause I have plenty of those lying around.

My fav books from the past (havent read a book for many years).

Shogan - James Clavell. Hands-down, my fav book.

Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin. Read this excellent series, years before the show came out. Love the show too!

Knights of Dark Renown, MorningStar, Dark Prince, Lion of Macedon - David Gemmell. Probabley my fav author...RIP :( My fav of his is Lion of Macedon, my second fav book.

Magician - Raymond E. Feist.

The Wheel of Time (series) - Robert Jordan. Great books, although started to lose interest towards the end.

The Seventh Scroll, The Sunbird, Cry Wolf, Monsoon - Wilbur Smith. Another fav author. Monsoon was the book that got me into reading. Brilliant book!

Desperation - Stephen King. Nuff said :P
