I looked, and I looked, and I LOOKED, but I could NOT find a thread that matched what I needed.

Here is my version of a Stormtrooper. I would greatly appreciate any feedback!

I like it pretty awsome!

Is it 32x32 or 64x64?

I think 32. So you think sws should be in 32x32 not 64x64? Because before starting designs we should state this.

idk, but I think that, so far, all the sws units are 32x32.

Hi,
Nice forms but it looks a bit... idk blured!?! Means looks like
Water got over it.
Means its nor Sharp and need to a get a bot sharper shading.
I think it also needs a gun.

The proportions are not like the other Units. It has a oversized head.
Well but it is a Good design now the Star warsDesign Leader has to say how the Units should look like.
Should they be like Icons to see the Units or should they be like Humans as
Much realistic as possible... well i think in SWS we actual had the focus on realism.

Here Patroid. Fixed the shading and the gun. Sorry about the head, but I was trying to make it look as much like a Stormtrooper as possible. :D

Left arm and leg aren't as sharp as the rest of it, and the left leg is unnaturally straight, like his right leg is shorter than his right

Here is my edited stormtrooper. I smallerized the head, and unstraightened the leg.

Where the gun crosses the right arm the outline for the gun dissappears and looks like it melds into his arm..... otherwise great! :D

i like it very much!

but we moved to the 64 px direction so all infantry images should look like CoolguY's alignment on us infantry (more characters on one image, and not facing to the "camera" but a little to the left or right and all charcters have slightly different "poses".

- Here are the sample of us infantry,
- and i quickly put your image into a 64px environment, (so i not changed any "facing" direction, or character "pose" that would be required to make it to 64 px).

The shading is too less, and there are no intrinsic details properly visible, for instance the gun looks like a rubber tube.... :lol: :roll:

Whoops! Here is the shaded, texture-ized Stormtrooper Squad. Its members are Tallguy, Lefty, and Squad Leader..... AB-123. :lol:

So. Here is my promised Stormtrooper Squad. All are in different poses (styled after COOLguy's units as much as possible) and are shaded after the great Elvenprincess's design.

Yeah, each unit should be modified to their proposed effectiveness in combat and not the movies or cartoons where they miss 99.99% of the time.
