Re: Forest sentry
This idea is great!
I made the stats for it.
4 turns to build
Hp 50
Attack power 5
Range 4
Armor 0
Pierce armor 2
Sight 6
Action/turn 1/1
Carry capacity 1
Heal rate 4
Most of them are same as guard tower
I made the range and sight lower becuase it will be hard to shoot far in the forest because there are many trees and the sight will be covered by trees.

Re: Forest sentry
Can we have a cheaper one too, that is weaker (less build time but less hp)?
Thanks!

Re: Forest sentry
I think outposts should be like this. And they should be able to be built on forest.COOLguy wrote:Can we have a cheaper one too, that is weaker (less build time but less hp)?
As of now, they are just useless.

Yeah I agree, the forests need to be used for something more than just barriers for wagons and siege units?

Re: Forest sentry
Good sketch!
It looks a lot like the current outpost tower things (whatever they're called, I never use them). Maybe this idea could just be turned into a revision of the useless outpost towers? Like, give them different stats/attack and make them buildable in forest? This would keep the concept, make an obsolete structure useful, and not require a new image to differentiate them.

Re: Forest sentry
i tend to agree, i myself never build outpost tower.
Re: Forest sentry
I do, it keeps assassins at bay as the only reason someone would destroy them would be by area damage or in order to cover up some assassins

Re: Forest sentry
How do they help against assassins? Couldn't they just walk around? You might as well build a wall if thats what you're defending against.

Re: Forest sentry
No, they are among the few units that can see assassins. Walls can be destroyed easily or simply walked around. Also, assassins often come at the main front
Thanks!

Re: Forest sentry
Ah, ok, either
1. The unit summary isn't very informative
2. No one but me ever uses assassins
3. I just never use these assassin-seeing buildings, so I wouldn't know
probably a combination of all three

So u guys want to make a
4 turns to build
Hp 50
Power 3
Range 4- 5
Armor 0
P Armor 2
Sight 6- 8
Actions 1
Capacity 1
Heal rate 4
Be abil to see spys like a watch tower, and be the upgrade/replacement for curent watch tower.
I went back and edited the stats a little... maybe those are stats if its built in forest but if its built on the grass it gains a bonus +2 to sight and +1 to range
