new: you can set minimal/few/many to the random maps to have some more initial units.
Christmas: 2 christmas maps are under the tutorial section.

Woah sick does this mean it is now possible to create upgrade inventions for buildings, or different ages or something etc?

Idk, like.... Lets say your buildings start out as thatched huts and stuff. And at 1000 points, they turn into basic buildings. Then at 2000 or whatever, they turn into normal buildings, etc. Idk, just an idea. It doesn't really add anything to the game but a cool atmosphere. That might be a lot of work though

To be more specific, the barracks feels too oriental. Like samurai and ashigaru styled. But I mostly make man at arms and legionarries, it just doesn't feel right

Siege workshop:i cant make out why that pole like thing stands out.also, it should have some scrap around it

I think the pole is supposed to just be a piece of scrap timber or maybe a catapults arm or something, but I agree some more scraps would indeed look good

Also i feel that it should not have a roof as siege units are quite tall.also the siege workshop should nescessarily be at least 1x2 as the siege units are huge

Well, the buildings aren't really supposed to be the same size as the units... And a workshop would deffinately have a roof, to protect the stuff from the elements I would think

What does leveling up the church to cathedral do? Increased heal rate for cathedral?
