i love this: Orcish cannon - Goblin Ammo 4.png

only suggestions:
- the thread at the start of cannon little looks like a mouse tail, can u chnge it a bit? (i suggest simply removing the "tail")
- the goblin holding the torch: can we try putting him to the back of the cannon? (approx where the "tail" was)


Also i plan that this cannon will have
- a basic damage that can be shot any turn - low damage
- and an ability to shoot a goblin (so needs to sacrifice a goblin) that will cause bigger damage, so for this we will need an ability image (like the spell images for casters)

I think that will become too difficult to use. Can't we just make a research for special ammo? Also i liked the idea of converting buildings.

also i decided to give a minimal normal (not ranged) damage for it.
and as a special action to be able to shoot a goblin (actually any nearby unit) to enemy.


aslo basic damage is 8, but against flash and blood it is 20 damage.

If you can throw any unit you might make a more neutral projectile sprite. Like on in shadow and smoke. The damage could also be telated to the unit used.

no, damage can only be independent of the "sacrificed" unit.

I've got an idea
The unit is teleported at target spot. If the enemy is killed (by damage and/or kill%) the unit used is teleported there and have no movement but a free action
What do you think? That way the unit can deal its damage but only if that tile becomes free.

Also i tried to use fodder cannon in a custom game but i couldn't manage to use it. The basic attack is melee range and has a low attack, and i couldn't hoot any goblin unit.

Daniel, i'm trying to use the cannon but it doesn't work for me (also it only attack in melee range)
please talk about the cannon in its own thread:
- but it works fine for me,
- have u pressed the "ability" button? (same place where spells are on magicians)
- also i has range 6, you can not use it farer.

do u have the latest version? I can kill with it smoothly.
pressing the button will only show the possible targets (little target signs) hit a target and the cannon will shoot.

anyone else have problem with it?
