Units high morale effect problem - ANSWERED

Post by Alexander82 »

I see that right now many units aren't affected from the high morale effect

Centurion itself (they should benefit from the same effect of other centurions, and also from legion commander)
Knight and Heavy knight
Skirmishers
Archer
Longbow Archer
Poison Archer
Fire Archer
Tanegashima Ashigaru
Lancer and Heavy lance
Man at arms

I'll update the list when i find other units

I dont think skirmishers should benefit from it

Because romans and barbarians are quite antigonistic in nature and culture

I don't think Centurions should. They are strong enough already, plus then they would always benefit from their own. They are commanders supplying the morale - they don't benefit from commanders of the same rank.
Thanks!

I think that sounds good. The Roman archers will get the Roman command effect anyway.

Romans had also archers and such, so i think they aldo should benefit from the high morale skill (and after all, as the name say, it's a morale based bonus).

I also think we should change it if we want to add this skill yo other officer units (same skill that should not stack).

That might be good. How about:

All melee units (as it is now) plus the default units get the high morale.

Does that sound good to everyone?
Thanks!

Knights ate also melee and romans had cavalry too.
What about giving the bonus to every flesh and blood unit asid from priests and workers (and any other non-combat unit)

Then I think the centurion should lose some stats. Just imagine him surrounded by elephants  undefeatable. :)
Thanks!

today i used it and man at arms wasn't affected.
Anyway it should affect all the units except siege weapons and, eventually, elephants.
