Dwarf cannonboat & explosive rounds

Once explosive rounds have been researched, the AI will automatically apply it to the cannonboat. The explosive round effect eventually reduces the speed of the cannonboat to zero, so that it cannot move.

well that is how this ability works.
alas for ai specifically it probably would be better to turn off this ability indeed.

Maybe a clarification.

If the player does not use an ability of the cannonboat in a turn, the computer will apply the explosive rounds ability to that cannonboat at the end of a turn automatically. That cannot be prevented.

So, if the player moves the cannonboat from the dock to the battle field, which may need several turns, the cannonboat gets stuck.
