Dwarf Grenadier

Self explanatory, this unit has a grenade launcher lobs bombs over units in order to do some devastating anti-infantry damage. Could potentially have a bonus against units in general but no bonus against structures.

Isn't it similar to current dwarven demolitionist?
Or you want cheaper variant?

Potentially more expensive with a greater range, definetly more expensive. A tech idea would be to give them frag grenades that do bonus damage to infantry

More expencive than 7 turns?

As for "greater range" — as this unit is thrower type it has limited possible max range.
It can't have range higher than 6 for dwarves (7 for slayers sub).

Bonus to infantries (big one) in general sounds not good.
Instead might be better to give them armor penetration (guaranteed minimal damage for now in form of power base, later will be changed to partial armor ignore during attack).

In general:
If you want this unit to have better attack than demolitionist but with same max range than it is fine to be cost 7 i'd say.

What he will have:
1. Better attack
2. Aoe (basic that will be expanded via separate tech)
3. Maybe small bonus to infantries like 10% to show that it is more effective against foot units than against mounts
4. 7 turns cost
5. Power base (in future armor penetration)

Armor penetration might be a good idea, 7 turns seems a bit much but considering its stats it may be required for that.

Well current demolitionist has 7 turn cost.
Alas he has extra abilities to support and pretty good anti-building bonuses.

This unit will not have those abilities but in return it will have better attack, aoe and power base (armor penetration). This will make him rather good ranged dd unit against crowds.

As for cost — i must remind that dwarves always have slightly higher cost for somewhat similar stats. Partially due to mines and partially due to exceptional armor they have.
