There will be two types of planes one will be a fighter plane and the other is maybe a bomber that is slow but can cause damage these can be created out of a hanger.

6 types

Fighter: good vs all planes and infantry
Heavy fighter: very good destroy bombers but weak vs fighters
light bomber: good vs land and sea units
Heavy bomber: Good to bomb cities and factories (bombing them stops production for 1 turn)
torpedo bomber:anti-ship unit
transport: moves infantry and artillery airfield to airfield and can drop infantry with parachutes
