Horrible hussars - IMPLEMENTED

Post by DoomCarrot »

Ok, so whats the deal with the hussars and hungarian hussars?

Are they not just pretty looking knights? There is honestly a bigger difference between a knight and a heavy knight than there is between a knight and a hussar.

Does anybody really spend extra turns to have a black horse instead of a brown horse?

SUMMARY: hussars are stupid imho, I'm sorry, but it is tragically true.

 HOW DARE YOU!!!

Besides being tremendously fast, they MOP infantry.

That's fine if you don't use them; but don't be hatin'. :)
Thanks!

Don't knights pretty much mop up infantry as well?...

But ok, I guess if people like them, there is no reason for this topic, my apologies.

End. Of.Scene.

Hussar is stronger than knight and faster but Hungarian hussar is weaker than knight and Hungarian hussar cost more. Why?

idk.
by the way:
the point of Hungarian hussar would be this: Has a good damage, but fast and mobile. They should vost same as knights and have bonus against pikeman.
This is Hungary and winter is coming.

Idk, I guess. It is also just kinda weird how there are hussars fighting spartans though, thats like two millenia collide

EDIT: Hussars were a "light" cavalry used during the age of guns and cannons, mostly used for quickly flanking positions as enemy lines tried to reload their muskets. They were used heavily in the Napoleonic Wars.

They might gain multiple, less powerful, attacks and a double movement (can spend their movement between their attack actions)

Hungarian hussar should cost 4 and Hussar 5

Ness, I agree. Thats kinda what I made this topic about.

A heavy knight is FAAAAR more effective than a hungarian hussar, considering it costs a turn less, which makes a big difference in a big game, where you are producing them in 4 stables at the same time.

Do we want to try it? The old Hoplite got taken down a cost turn...

I am okay with trying it out.
Thanks!

Yay!

Also, I am really embarrassed by the revival of this topic, I had so little knowlegde of this game's strategy and their purpose when I made this topic, now I love them in certain situations
