Daily gift IMPLEMENTED

I received many requests on daily gifts.

How it Works:
Daily gift will be offered if
a) you finished a campaign or skimish map that day
b) OR you took one turn on multiplayer game
(so not only logging in)
OR should we gie for only logging in - i mean only for launching the game?

The offering is a dialog in main menu, that shows
1. today's gift, that can be collected
2. and next 10 or 20 gifts he will receive if he plays every day (to see what you can earn in near future)
3. and maybe an extra info on which day will he receive bigger packs (like 30 or 60 or more gems)

Gifts:
please list here your ideas what can be (currently) a daily gift, here are mine
every day:
- 1 gem
- 1 random consumable (unlock map or kill unit or reveal spot or weaken unit and so on)

every 10th day:
- 5 gems
- 1 random upgrade unlocking

on 30th day
- 30 gems

on 60th day
- 60 gems

please list me some more ideas what we could give as daily 10daily and so on gifts.

For aof a bit later we want to add into fun-type units forum heroes. And some of them could be as such "rewards".

But firstly we need to fix their stats.

Yeah I would not mind some extra gem supply(I miss still some stuff) but special rewards may encourage playing
We have many fan map units in aos but, I don't remember any hero/general/leader really
(Only Jean D'Arc)

1.So heroes?
Alexander the great, Djingiz kan, Suleiman, etc
(if interested open a topic for idea collection)

The troyan horse shaped battering ram - same stats balance wise, maybe 4 slots
Rocket cat :seriously they we mentioned in 16 century books - suicide unit

For Aos may a 50th day login/launch game) :a fire dragon reward
Of course spell only game but would be very cool
:D


2.aow "Admiral spells"
On time use spell /battle - single unit -each nation should have at least 2

admiral Eisenhover boost plane's/Ships while Goring tanks
Who's ww expert set things n balance out.
Should increase more stats like hp speed.
Cons. yet Someone have to draw portrets.


3.(and if you feel bored :roll: ,player name appears in gold/emerald in chat - reward)

good idea!

i also thought (also needs coding) a "quick view" unlocking meaning it gets unlocked only for a few days (for half or quarter of gems)

My idea could b expanded, first check point 25% for 1 day, next 50 %, third 75 %, then 25% 2 items for 3 days, 50% 2 items for 3 days, 75% etc...

May this gift given every 15 days of daily log-in?

Wat if one day all ur games u r waitingfor other players to take turn, then u wouldb missing the daily gift

I normally wouldnt like it, it already takes almost an hour to play 100+ units in a turn, 3 games with 100+ units wouldtake my entire day of free times and choosing4rth game is asking to b skipped

use multiselect and waypoints, it is impossible to handle them individually.
use micro management only on frontline (imho)

a turn should not take more than about 10 minutes.

Useless wen 75% of my troops r workers :lol: i have no choice but to handle them individually else i will never get the wagons to send troops on front lines in time

that case u need handle only 1 worker in a group as all build the same wagons automatically, arent they?

whatever, 75% of worker is too much imho :)

But my worker army can complete one and start construction of another in a turn, and by 25 turns 75% worker army is actually normal cause most front line units die and get replaced but workers never die unless u r being overwhelmed so they only keep on increasing, rather being able to kill enemy workers early game is actually considered pro level skills unless u r in a short map

Well in AoF we do not have that problem because craftable units there are not that powerful.

OK, the fist version is ready, later there will be more things to get daily now only
- gems
- consumable upgrades
- unit upgrades

does daily gift mode get reset if players fail to play turn any single day, and wat will happen after he gets the last gift?

no, this is not "calendar" day, but the days you collect.
if one day you have not collected than you can collect that on next day.
