I checked and apparently these aren't actually demons just one eyed giants with a temper.

The cyclops's are powerful giants who are short tempered and quite a threat when it comes to facing dragons and other giants. Growing up in rough lands holding off dragons from stealing their homes and cattle, to fending off other giants from stealing their homes and cattle, to them, everyone's probally out to steal those and it's a wonder how the orcs managed to get them to fight for them at all.

Atk:23
Rng:1
Spd:2
Sight:4
Pwr:2
Arm:4
P.Arm:6
Res:40%
Bonus to dragons, giants, Cav?
Abilities:
Blood rage- if this units life reaches 20% or less it becomes uncontrollable (I neutral-hostile exists you could change it to that.) And goes on a rampant.
Is affected by poison we open upgrade has an axe.

Not for ork
This units don't fits ork well(thematic - humanoids, mythology)
I'd add to a different faction.

Orcs have enough giants right now
Also I get a cave troll with better stats for 6 turns.

As for me it fits nice but need different stats.

Yes different stats.
But we really should not put every giant to orcs just bcoz don't find better place.

but cyclops are usually a part of orcish horde.
At least in many games i played they are.

In our game we put them where we want (and where make sence too)

In other games I know they are own race from giants, as not playable but enemy.
Who hunt in forest and mountain lands. But don't make alliance with others.
In myths are different kinds of Cyclops :are giant dumb beast
Smith who Forged gods gear
And offspring of some creatures and God love-affairs. -
More intelligent and can speak.

Here orcs are using trolls and likely creatures to demolish buildings.
Stick this line in our "Game history'
If get Minotaurs than its really inutil to add a different giant to same role.

Also look after how they are classified in games where aren't any orcs.
Cud help decide such issues where put ogres giants and such.

For Cyclops I say a strong campaign unit role is perfect,

Cyclops and other kind of savage giants are fit for the orc race and no other

Just make a proposal something that just don't overlap too much with existing units

We have 3 Ingame giant (4 if count the ork warlord) and 4 proposed giant like units.
Also Minotaurs and crusher both whit upgrades against building and infantry.

That's why I think don't need a new one.

If u want to keep for orcs look over the current stats of giant and invent some special ability to worth adding it.
As u see we are full of ork giant but have no flying. And water (Only merloks) but that are not orcs strong side.

As for campaign boss could work better and let more space to choose the stats.

Anything that should change because making it stronger and more tankier kinda defeats the purpose of the ettin like the hill troll upgrades unless the settings going to get stronger and takes its place back above all giants.

Ettins have 2 action and better spead.
Still good and cheap for its 8 cost.

Cyclops:
11 turn cost, trainable at Volcano only.
Hp - 150
Attack - 40, halved standart bonuses to buildings.
Power range - 2
Range - 1
Armor - 2/2
Speed - 4, in water - 2
Sight - 9
Spell resist - 100%
Abilities:
Throw goblin - throws allied goblin (only goblin-based units) nearby, dealing damage of 100% of current hp unit had. Range - 7, no cooldown. Deals same bonus damage as cyclops itself has.
Eat goblin - Eats nearby goblin to heal 50% of max hp.

Special:
When attacks in melee it deals damage to ALL units including allied and your own. Deals same damage on counter and to all units in range as well.
Can't be healed by orc or troll shamans, can't be affected by any spells or effects (both positive and negative) excluding dot effects (like poison).

This what i have in mind.

An orc boss style unit like grey dragon and forest guardian? I like this concept. Fits for volcano only unit as well since it lacks any units unique to that structure.

Yep.
Deals insane amounts of damage to weaklings, sometimes just wiping 'em from the map, completely immune to any status effects (you can't slow/curse/scream it but you can't also buff or heal it normally, still vurable to Damage-over-time effects), can throw goblins to enemies for damage but be careful when it goes in rage it deals damage to aliies as well and this can be used against you.

You need to support it with goblins for healing and danged damage.

Hmmm, those kinds look like the image that I couldn't post because it was to o big, I think I prefer the last one in your images.
Btw any other races getting boss status units?
E.g. Dwarves, Humans, Undead.
Btw he loses mountain walk right? Or should it be 1 move on those?

Dang, I was sure this could be saved for another fraction of race ( mystical beings). Looks like I need to make a topic for that asap before all myth units are gone

It could be...
But that "race" is far from implementation
So that's why I said keep Cyclops as map editor units.

With the edition of other races Boss status units This seems fair for orcs. It doesn't get affected by buffs and can only heal by eating goblins. Basically like a goblin ringleader who uses his goblin followers for everything :lol:

Yep. But it is not a "boss" or like that. Just another extremly costly giant and also it can backfire.

Exactly, the grey dragon has as much health as a war elephant and can cross mountains and water, plus has all those auras and kobald warrior falling. It has decent armour plus attack and isn't a flying unit. It only costs 12 turns, with no backfires noticebal.

Gray dragon will be changed completely in future updates. As well as whole scaledfolk race.

Also it will loose some health.
But hydra will gain health.
